30th Annual Tofte Trek
A beautiful North Shore day greeted runners and walkers at the 30th Annual Tofte Trek. A record-breaking field of nearly 400 runners and walkers participated in this event, which benefits Tofte area non-profit organizations. Greg Hexum from Duluth, MN took first place in the men's race for the ninth year in a row with a time of 35:06. Michelle Volz from Lakeville, MN took the lead in the women's race with a time of 44:32. A large contingent of runners from Duluth provided stiff competition for the rest of the field.
